Responsibilities
- Carefully press silk and wool fabrics using professional pressing equipment to achieve smooth, wrinkle-free finishes
- Follow specific garment care instructions to preserve fabric integrity and appearance
- Inspect garments for any defects or irregularities before pressing, ensuring the highest quality standards are met
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pressing area, including proper handling of cleaning supplies and equipment
- Assist with basic laundry and dry cleaning tasks as needed to support overall garment maintenance
- Handle customer inquiries professionally, providing excellent service and addressing any special requests or concerns
- Accurately process transactions involving cash handling and cashiering duties when required
Skills
- Previous experience in hotel or hospitality settings is highly desirable, demonstrating strong customer service skills
- Knowledge of dry cleaning, laundry processes, and fabric care techniques for delicate textiles like silk and wool
