What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dance Instructor position at Fancy Feet Dance Academy?
Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Sign up students for classes
- Instructor classes for dancers ages 18 months- teens in a variety of styles
- Handle client inquiries about classes
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area
- Operate phone systems, including answering and transferring calls
- Process payments
-Choreograph recital dances
Experience:
- Previous experience in a dance/fitness studio setting
- Knowledge of early childhood education
- Familiarity with phone systems and customer service principles
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Dance training in ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop and musical theater
