The Role:
We’re looking for a reliable and passionate overnight baker to join our kitchen team. If you love working with dough, creating delicious baked goods from scratch, and enjoy the calm of early mornings, this could be the perfect fit for you.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and bake a variety of breads, pastries, and morning goods from scratch
- Follow recipes and baking schedules to ensure product quality and consistency
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bakery and equipment
- Monitor oven temperatures, proofing times, and baking conditions
- Assist with inventory and prep for the next day’s production
- Work efficiently in a fast-paced, early morning environment
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a commercial kitchen or bakery is mandatory
- Knowledge of basic baking techniques (proofing, kneading, scaling, etc.)
- Ability to work independently and follow detailed instructions
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Reliable transportation and punctuality are essential
