Seamstress Tailor

Job Summary

As a Tailor, you will be responsible for providing high-quality tailoring services to our customers, ensuring their garments fit perfectly and meet their style preferences. Duties

• Perform alterations and repairs on various types of garments, including dresses, suits, and casual wear.
• Utilize sewing machines and hand-sewing techniques to execute precise alterations.
• Collaborate with customers to understand their tailoring needs and provide expert advice on garment fit and style.
• Measure clients accurately to ensure proper fit and make necessary adjustments accordingly.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring all tools and materials are readily available.
• Keep up-to-date with fashion trends to provide informed recommendations to clients.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues related to tailoring services promptly.

Requirements

• Proven experience in tailoring or garment alteration is preferred.
• Proficiency in using sewing machines and understanding of garment construction techniques.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
• Basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations related to alterations.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
