As part of this mission, the Senior Manager, VIP Strategy & Operations will shape the strategic direction and go-to-market vision for our flagship customer growth programs. This role defines how Fanatics positions, promotes, and evolves these offerings to maximize customer acquisition, engagement, and retention across the VIP lifecycle.
Role Overview
The Senior Manager, VIP Strategy & Operations will own the go-to-market strategy and vision for Status Match, Fast Track, and FanaticsONE promotional initiatives. You will be responsible for defining the roadmap, market positioning, and cross-functional alignment that drive program growth.
This is a strategic leadership role—focused on insight-driven planning, market differentiation, and the continuous evolution of FanaticsONE’s VIP programs to strengthen competitive advantage and customer loyalty.

Launched in 2021, Fanatics Betting and Gaming is the online and retail sports betting subsidiary of Fanatics, a global digital sports platform. The Fanatics Sportsbook is available to 95% of the addressable online sports bettor market in the U.S. Fanatics Casino is currently available online in Michigan, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and West Virginia. Fanatics Betting and Gaming operates twenty-two retail sports betting locations, including the only sportsbook inside an NFL stadium at Northwest Stadium. Fanatics Betting and Gaming is headquartered in New York with offices in Denver, Leeds and Dublin.

Key Responsibilities Strategic Vision & Program Development
- Define the long-term vision, positioning, and strategic roadmap for FanaticsONE’s core VIP programs: Status Match, Fast Track, and exclusive promotions.
- Develop and refine go-to-market strategies that clearly articulate program value, differentiation, and customer benefits.
- Translate business goals into strategic initiatives that fuel customer acquisition and loyalty growth.
- Partner with senior leadership to align VIP strategy with overall company objectives and revenue targets.
- Lead market assessments and competitor analysis to identify opportunities for differentiation in VIP and loyalty offerings.
- Evaluate external trends, emerging player behaviors, and industry innovations to inform strategic decision-making.
- Identify white-space opportunities and develop frameworks for market expansion or program evolution.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Product, and CRM leadership to define how programs come to market—ensuring brand alignment, messaging consistency, and strategic prioritization.
- Partner with Analytics and Finance to evaluate program performance, define success metrics, and guide investment prioritization.
- Influence key stakeholders across the organization to ensure VIP programs are strategically integrated into broader GTM initiatives.
- Partner with Customer Operations to align on implementation and execution of strategic priorities.
- Build annual and quarterly strategic plans outlining key priorities, customer segments, and market growth opportunities.
- Provide executive-level recommendations and insights to inform resourcing, market expansion, and innovation planning.
- Act as the internal thought leader and subject-matter expert for the FanaticsONE VIP ecosystem.
- 7 years of experience in go-to-market strategy, loyalty marketing, or strategic planning (sportsbook, casino, or gaming experience preferred).
- Proven track record of developing and launching strategic frameworks that drive customer engagement and growth.
- Deep understanding of customer lifecycle dynamics, loyalty economics, and competitive positioning.
- Exceptional strategic thinking, analytical, and communication skills; able to influence at senior levels.
- Strong cross-functional leadership experience with an ability to translate strategy into actionable business alignment.
- A visionary mindset with a passion for innovation in customer loyalty and engagement.
