Responsibilities
Specific requirements and tasks may include, but are not limited to the following:
- Draft, review, edit, and coordinate staffing of safety reports and documents (e.g., briefings, engineering documents, acquisition documents, etc.) in support of the program Environmental, Safety, and Occupational Health process
- Plan, schedule, conduct, and coordinate detailed phases of the engineering or scientific work in a project as related to safety requirements and plan execution
- Support technical findings, opinions, or recommendations
- Perform customer liaison, make presentations, and attend customer meetings
- Consult with stakeholders on technical applications to support program management decisions
- Perform the administrative and technical support required to successfully coordinate and facilitate technical reviews; creation of technical review summary reports and additional supporting documentation; development of meeting minutes and action item trackers; and update of event information on calendars and Government-specified websites (i.e., Teams, SharePoint)
- Leverage knowledge of safety-related processes to inform the program Integrated Master Schedule on key engineering events and documents and their expected durations and dependencies
- Bachelor's Degree.
- 2-4 years of experience.
- Secret Clearance preferred. Ability to obtain Secret Clearance required.
- Working knowledge of Department of Defense/War acquisition program lifecycle, from requirements development and design through production, fielding, and sustainment.
