Description

Harding University invites applications for a 12-month Assistant/Associate Professor of Medicinal Chemistry within the College of Pharmacy. We seek a candidate who is both a technical expert and a motivated educator eager to integrate faith with high-level science. The successful candidate will play a vital role in developing and delivering the Pharm.D. curriculum and training students to serve their communities with clinical excellence and integrity.

Harding University is a private Christian institution affiliated with the Churches of Christ. In alignment with its mission and religious identity, Harding prioritizes hiring active, engaged members of the Churches of Christ who align with Harding University’s Statement of Faith and agree to uphold the University’s spiritual mission by adhering to the beliefs and institutional policies outlined in the Employee Handbook. Certain positions require Church of Christ membership. For all others, if no well-qualified Church of Christ candidates are available, the University may consider others who are aligned with the Statement of Faith and who are active, engaged members in local congregations aligned with the Statement of Faith and the Employee Policies.

Individuals interested in applying for current faculty openings should apply online with the formal application form. A Letter of Interest and a Curriculum Vitae should be uploaded with the application. Candidates who progress through the process will be contacted to provide two spiritual references, two professional references, a statement of teaching philosophy and an official transcript for all degrees earned.

Individuals interested should contact Dr. Kwame Yeboah, Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences Chair and Professor, 501-279-5391, or gyeboah@harding.edu, to obtain more information.

Salary and rank are determined based on credentials and experience.
