We’re hiring a Graduate Recruiter at the FAMU-FSU College of Engineering.
This role is the front door to our graduate programs — you’ll travel to conferences and universities, build relationships with prospective students, and guide them from first contact to application. You’ll work across thesis-based master’s and PhD programs in engineering, using CRM tools, hosting info sessions, and connecting students with faculty research opportunities.

Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Graduate Recruiter at the FAMU-FSU College of Engineering, based in Tallahassee, FL. The Graduate Recruiter will be responsible for identifying, engaging, and recruiting high-achieving graduate students for various programs at the college. Tasks include developing and implementing recruitment strategies, organizing events, maintaining relationships with prospective students, and representing the college at various outreach activities and conferences. The role also involves tracking recruitment data, collaborating with faculty and staff, and promoting the college’s unique programs and values.
Qualifications
- Ability to adhere to ethical business practices and promote ethical behavior.
- Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing.
- Ability to prioritize, organize and perform multiple work assignments simultaneously.
- Ability to utilize problem solving skills.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
- Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
- Knowledge of and ability to interpret and apply related federal, state, and local laws, ordinances, rules and regulations and the ability to interpret academic program requirements and provide advice.
- Knowledge of and the ability to interpret and apply related University policies, procedures, principles, and practices.
- Knowledge of academic resources available to students, demonstrated knowledge of academic support service processes and practices.
- Knowledge of applicable computer applications and basic computer functions.
- Knowledge of university admissions processes.
- Previous experience in sales and/or recruiting
