Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure all ingredients and final dishes are fresh and of high quality.
- Follow recipes accurately, including measuring, weighing, and mixing ingredients.
- Cook a variety of foods by baking, grilling, steaming, and boiling.
- Present, garnish, and arrange dishes beautifully.
- Occasionally serve food to guests.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area, handling utensils, equipment, and dishes properly.
- Store ingredients and food correctly.
- Uphold food safety and sanitation standards.
- Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, and utensils.
- Execute opening and closing procedures efficiently.
- Set up workstations with necessary ingredients and equipment.
- Check the quality and freshness of ingredients regularly.
- Monitor inventory levels at your station.
- Accommodate special requests from guests.
- Operate kitchen equipment such as broilers, ovens, grills, and fryers.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience as a cook is required.
- Food safety certification is a plus.
