At Famly, we're looking for our next superstar to join our Finance & Legal team! If that is you, then you will become a core part of a small but mighty team in a growing SaaS company and thus gain a large amount of responsibility right from day one. You will have the chance to try a broad palate of tasks within finance operations and will also help drive legal initiatives across the organization. As an Associate Analyst, you will be a dedicated finance person at Famly and will be reporting to and working directly with the finance team. This is a part time position with an expected workload of 15-20 hours a week. We are a small hands-on team, so every member is expected to perform whatever task is needed within the team, even if it's not described below.

What excites you:

  • Controlling and manage customer subscriptions and invoicing

  • Assist in debt collection in close collaboration with the Customer Support & Success teams

  • Manage and respond to customer inquiries about operational finance matters

  • Reconciliation of accounts and assisting with month-end closing procedures

  • Bookkeeping of expenses and ensure timely payment of vendors

  • Monitor expenses and drive cost savings where possible

  • Identify opportunities to automate manual finance processes using AI and other tools


What excites us:

  • You are a fast learner and technically competent (Advanced Excel/Google sheets/SQL or other programming experience)

  • You have a genuine interest in either finance and is curious to learn more

  • You have a genuine interest in AI and are excited to use tools like Claude to work smarter and improve how we do things

  • You can work independently, proactively and enjoy detail-oriented work

  • You are process-driven and enjoy continuously improving existing processes

  • You are eager to help your colleagues. We are a scale-up and all employees are expected to support where they are most needed.



About you:

  • You have started your university degree, in a line of study that requires a high degree of numerical or legal literacy (such as cand.merc)

  • Excellent technical excel/google sheets skills

  • Excellent English skills, both written and spoken

  • Great communication skills

  • An open mind towards working with people from different cultures and backgrounds (we have more than different 30 nationalities at Famly)

  • Bonus if you've already built something with AI - a small workflow, prompt template, or Google Sheets script
