- Compensation: $60-$80/hour or $58,500-$80,000/Annually

Responsibilities:
- Provide consultative and direct behavioral support within general education and special education classrooms to promote student engagement, regulation, and access to instruction.
- Conduct Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs) in collaboration with school teams according to NYS regulations. Create effective behavior intervention plans and data collection systems to support the BIP.
- Collaborate with school teams to implement Behavior Support Plans, Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs), and IEP/504 accommodations across the instructional day.
- Support students with moderate to severe behavioral needs through proactive, evidence-based strategies that build communication, social, academic, and daily-living skills.
- Collect and/or train and support accurate, ongoing data on target behaviors, skill acquisition, prompting levels, and student engagement, and use data to inform instructional and behavioral decisions through hands-on training and in-the-moment feedback.
- Assist with and support classroom routines including arrival/dismissal, transitions, centers, morning meeting, specials, lunch, and unstructured times.
- Communicate professionally and effectively with teachers, related service providers, administrators, families, and agency supervisors while adhering to district policies and ethical standards.
- Maintain confidentiality of student and family information in accordance with State and Federal regulations.
- Participate in supervision, professional development, and collaborative team meetings to support continued growth in school-based practice.
