POSITION SUMMARY:
We are seeking new additions to our team! Our Member Associates are vital to our member and new member experience. This position supports the work of the Y, a leading nonprofit committed to strengthening community through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Provides outstanding customer service to our members as they reach their wellness goals.
- Follows YMCA policies, procedures, and responds to emergency situations.
- Thinks, communicates and behaves as a cause-driven leader to promote the Y across departments.
- Administrative duties; membership account management, answering phones, tours of the facility.
- Willingness to assist other departments as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Excellent interpersonal and problem solving skills.
- Ability to relate effectively and establish positive relationships with our diverse community.
- Previous customer service, sales or related experience preferred.
- Basic knowledge of computers.

Schedule:
- Weekend availability
- Saturday 7am - 12pm
- Sunday 11:30am - 3:30pm
Education:
- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Experience:
- Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- Driver's License (Required)
