Job Title: Security Guard - 3pm - 11pm (rotating holidays and weekends)
Job Summary: We are looking for a vigilant and dedicated Security Guard to join our team. The Security Guard will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for employees, visitors, and assets. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong observational and communication skills while ensuring compliance with security protocols.
Responsibilities:
- Surveillance and Monitoring:
- Conduct regular patrols of the premises to detect and deter suspicious activities.
- Monitor surveillance cameras and alarms to identify security threats.
- Access Control:
- Control access points, verify identification, and issue visitor passes.
- Enforce security policies related to entry and exit procedures.
- Emergency Response:
- Respond promptly to emergency situations, including alarms and medical emergencies.
- Coordinate with emergency services as needed.
- Incident Reporting:
- Document and report any security incidents, breaches, or unusual activities.
- Complete incident reports and provide detailed information to management.
- Customer Service:
- Provide excellent customer service to employees, visitors, and clients.
- Assist with inquiries and provide directions as needed.
- Security Checks:
- Conduct regular checks of equipment, doors, and windows to ensure they are secure.
- Report any maintenance issues or security vulnerabilities.
- Collaboration with Authorities:
- Work closely with law enforcement and emergency responders when necessary.
- Provide assistance during investigations if required.
- Training and Awareness:
- Stay informed about security best practices and company policies.
- Participate in ongoing training to enhance skills and knowledge.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a Security Guard or in a related field.
- Valid security guard license/certification (if required by local regulations).
- Strong observational and surveillance skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Physical fitness and the ability to stand for extended periods.

- Available to work rotating weekends and holidays.
