What are the responsibilities and job description for the Regional CDL Class A Driver – Home Most Nights position at Family Way Logistics LLC?
Family Way Logistics LLC is looking for a reliable and professional CDL Class A Driver to join our team.
This is a regional position based out of Memphis, TN. Drivers will travel to surrounding states and return home when the load schedule allows. Some loads may require an overnight stay. When an overnight stay is required, the company will provide and pay for hotel accommodations.
Pay & Schedule:
- 20% of weekly truck revenue
- Typical earnings $1,000–$2,000 per week, depending on loads and revenue
- Paid weekly
- Monday–Saturday
- Sundays off
- Routes and start times vary based on scheduled loads
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate tractor-trailer equipment
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Follow DOT and Hours of Service requirements
- Communicate consistently with dispatch
- Arrive on time for pickups and deliveries
- Submit BOLs, PODs, fuel receipts, and other required paperwork
- Keep assigned equipment clean
- Be willing to stay overnight when required by the load schedule
Requirements:
- Valid Class A CDL
- Acceptable driving record
- Must pass required drug/alcohol screening
- Background and MVR check
- Dependable and professional
- Good communication and time-management skills
Please Note: This is not a guaranteed home-daily position. Drivers must be comfortable with regional travel and occasional overnight stays. Company-paid hotel accommodations are provided for required overnight stays.
Pay: $1,000.00 - $2,000.00 per week
