We are a breakfast/ lunch restaurant seeking enthusiastic and self sufficient individuals to join our team as Cashier/ Counter Help. Your responsibilities will include assisting customers with their orders, handling transactions, and ensuring a clean and welcoming atmosphere. Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with menu selections.
- Operate the POS system and cash register accurately to process transactions.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the counter area and restaurant.
- Handle cash transactions responsibly, ensuring accurate cash handling practices.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Assist in restocking supplies and maintaining inventory levels.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
Requirements
- Previous experience in customer service or sales is preferred.
- Familiarity with POS systems and cash registers is a plus.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor.
- Experience in food preparation is beneficial but not required.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
