Job Summary
The Adoption Trainer & Family Assessor will be responsible for utilizing inquiry technology to onboard interested families in foster care adoption. The assessor will be responsible for preparing families for adoption with the curriculum-based PRIDE (Parent Resources for Information, Development and Education) classes, as well as teaching other adoption related trainings as needed. This position is also responsible for completing in depth home studies for potential adoptive families, including home visits, thorough interviews, and background checks.

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited College or University.
- Three years professional experience in child welfare with at least two years in a dependency related position and formal experience in trainer/teacher related activities (developing curriculum, presentation construction, training facilitation, etc.)
- Valid driver’s license.
Schedule & Hours
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.
- PRIDE classes are typically twice a week from 6 – 9pm or on Saturday’s.
