Milieu Treatment Specialist – Day Treatment
Location: River Bend Day Treatment Program, Medford, OR
Schedule: Full-Time | Day Shift
Reports To: Program Supervisor

Family Solutions is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Milieu Treatment Specialist to join our RiverBend Day Treatment Program. In this impactful role, you’ll provide structure, emotional support, and behavioral guidance to youth facing emotional and behavioral challenges in a therapeutic day setting.

What You’ll Do:
As a Milieu Treatment Specialist, you'll help create a safe, supportive environment where youth can succeed. You'll be part of a multidisciplinary team that includes therapists, educators, and case managers, working together to implement individualized treatment and education plans.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct supervision and emotional support to youth throughout the day.

• Implement therapeutic interventions and group behavior plans.

• Participate in treatment planning and attend IEP, WRAP, and CFT meetings.

• Maintain daily documentation including progress notes, attendance, behavior logs, and incident reports.

• Coordinate with families and teachers to support each youth’s progress.

• Assist with educational programming and classroom support as needed.

• Follow meal service and disinfection protocols.

• Transport youth to and from activities as required.

• Ensure client confidentiality and uphold ethical standards at all times.

What You’ll Bring:

• Bachelor’s degree or at least 3 years of combined education and experience with children or young adults.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to manage challenging behaviors with professionalism and compassion.

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

• Ability to pass an ODHS background check.
