This is a strong fit for a clinician who is comfortable working in a non-traditional, high-impact environment and who brings meaningful experience supporting adults with substance use concerns, trauma-related presentations, and acute behavioral health needs. In this role, the clinician will provide on-site counseling, assessment, crisis intervention, and wellness support to a workforce operating in a demanding, high-stress setting where mental health services are directly connected to employee safety, resilience, and job performance.
About the Role
Under the supervision of the Chief Director of the Family Solutions Counseling Division, the clinician will provide confidential, evidence-based behavioral health services to construction professionals on-site in Pampa, Texas. The clinician will be expected to work independently, use sound clinical judgment, and engage effectively with adult employees in a labor-oriented work environment. Services are provided in person and on-site, with scheduling coordinated around site operations.
This is a full-time position offering competitive salary and comprehensive group benefits, including health insurance, paid time off, and a 401(k) with employer match.
Primary Responsibilities
- Conduct biopsychosocial assessments and develop clinically appropriate treatment plans
- Provide confidential counseling services for concerns including anxiety, depression, stress, interpersonal difficulties, substance use, trauma, and co-occurring behavioral health issues
- Deliver crisis intervention services, including suicide risk screening, safety planning, de-escalation, and referral to higher levels of care when clinically indicated
- Respond to unscheduled on-site behavioral health crises and urgent employee support needs
- Provide trauma-informed clinical support following workplace accidents, fatalities, or other disruptive site events
- Collaborate with site leadership, safety personnel, medical staff, and HR or wellness teams to support workforce mental health initiatives
- Facilitate mental health awareness trainings, wellness talks, and other psychoeducational programming as assigned
- Maintain timely, accurate, and compliant documentation
- Deliver services in accordance with HIPAA, HiTECH, and professional ethical standards
Required Qualifications
- Fully licensed in Texas as an LPC, LCSW, or LMFT
- Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a closely related field from an accredited institution

- Strong clinical judgment and the ability to work independently in a non-traditional setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport across a diverse adult workforce
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience serving adult working populations, especially in construction, industrial, labor, or other high-stress environments
- Experience with critical incident stress management, crisis response, or post-incident support
- Experience delivering psychoeducation, mental health awareness training, or wellness programming
- Proficiency with electronic health records, telehealth tools, and workplace communication platforms
