FSW’s Prime Time Therapeutic Preschool is a special education program for preschoolers in Westchester and Putnam Counties that offers a comprehensive range of individualized educational programming and therapeutic services.
JOB SUMMARY
Family Services of Westchester is seeking a Full-Time Special Education Assistant Teacher to join our Prime-Time Program located in Peekskill, NY.
RESPONSIBILITES
- Provide care with patience and adaptablility in an active classroom environment
- Reinforce concepts introduced by the teacher and work with students to complete assigned tasks in 1:1 and small goup settings.
- Assist students with daily living skills, such as communication, toileting, and personal hygiene
- Monitor student behavior and implement intervention plans

QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION
- High School Diploma- (Required)
- CDA
