Job Summary
Family Services of Westchester is seeking a Full-Time F-ACT Program Assistant to work with our FACT (Forensic Assertive Community Treatment) team in our clinic in Yonkers, NY. FACT supports adults with severe mental illness who are involved with the criminal justice system.
The Program Assistant provides administrative support to the F-ACT team, including scheduling, record-keeping, insurance collection/processing, and facilitating communication within the team and with external stakeholders. They will help ensure the smooth operation of the program.
RESPONSIBILITES
Input daily data into FSW EHR, produce required reports, and double check accurate input of information by the teams in preparation for weekly/monthly/quarterly submission to the funder.
Coordinate collection/verification of insurance information. Interface with finance as directed by supervisors to assist in processing insurance accuracy/eligibility/payments.
Produce all required reports to submit to funder.
Coordinating team schedules for FACT and training calendars for the team.
Process purchase requisition orders/invoices for FACT.
Other tasks as assigned by supervisor.
Qualifications
EDUCATION
Experience
Bachelors preferred, Associates (Required)
3-5 years in a related field, basic knowledge of medical billing/insurances
Skills
Interpersonal skills
Bilingual (Required)

awareness of client needs, ability to effectively interview clients from diverse backgrounds to obtain facts and to recognize relevant case information
