Staff Attorney

Family Services Incorporated is seeking a full-time Staff Attorney to join our Victim Services Program’s Civil Legal Representation team. We are looking for a compassionate, dependable, and collaborative professional who is dedicated to supporting victims and survivors through trauma-informed legal advocacy.

Position Overview:
The Staff Attorney will provide comprehensive legal representation to program participants in a variety of civil legal matters. Responsibilities include conducting client interviews, preparing and filing legal documents, representing clients in court proceedings and trials, and handling related litigation such as contempt petitions and appeals. The attorney will work closely with advocates across the Victim Services Program to ensure a coordinated response to client needs.

Training Provided:
This position includes 40 hours of domestic abuse training to prepare you for working with survivors in a trauma-informed and empowering manner.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
• Licensed and eligible to practice law in Pennsylvania
• Commitment to maintaining licensure through required CLE credits

Ability to pass all required clearances and screenings, including:

• Criminal background check
• Act 33/34
• FBI fingerprinting
• Drug screening

Compensation and Benefits:

• Starting Salary: $56,160–$64,480 (commensurate with experience)
