PRINCIPAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Demonstrate a positive, professional attitude.
- Assist Site Supervisors with programming, daily activities, and scheduling.
- Help provide and nurture a family-centered program.
- Monitor, interact, and encourage participation with youth.
- Maintain safety and security and encourage them to make responsible choices.
- Ensure that all program areas are clean, organized, and safe.
- Interact, engage, and keep families updated.
- Assist in implementing accreditation and licensing standards.
- Attend and participate in team meetings, weekly site supervisor meetings, and staff development opportunities.
- Interact with families.
- Inform families of the day and any program events or happenings.
- Communicate, cooperate, and be respectful of fellow team members
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
High School Diploma or GED, 1 years of previous experience working with children.
OTHER CREDENTIALS / CERTIFICATIONS:
Basic Life Support (CPR) and Basic First Aid certifications are required at the time of employment or to be completed within 60 days of starting employment.
