SUMMARY
Family Service League is seeking a full-time Program Assistant for our Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) program in Riverhead. The Program Assistant will be responsible for proactively ordering supplies and maintaining the office site, while establishing and maintaining a positive, productive, and safe office environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- The Program Assistant will answer the phones and direct calls.
- Maintain daily operations of Electronic Medical Records (EMR) record keeping, staff scheduling and safety.
- Perform daily scanning.
- Verify and submit billing.
- Complete and submit overage paperwork monthly.
- The Program Assistant will order supplies within program budget limitations.
- Schedule building maintenance, including repairs, cleaning, and safety.
- Maintain operations of technology, including phones, computers, copy machines, fax machines and scanners.
- Establish and maintain positive working relationships with others, both internally and externally.
- Attend and maintain all required trainings.
- All other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Minimum of 3 years of clerical and customer service experience required.
Prior knowledge of OMH regulations required.
Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills required.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a constantly changing, fast paced environment.
Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office and electronic health record systems required.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
This position requires sitting for long periods of time. Must be able to lift up to 10 lbs.
