Position Description:
Clinic-Based psychotherapist
Hourly rate for billable services.
LCSW, LPC, LMFT or Psychotherapist will provide insurance billable psychotherapy to individuals, couples and families. We are building our clinic-based services, and need clinicians with experience in the mental health field to join our team. Experience diagnosing and treating a wide range of emotional, mental health, family issues. Training, experience and interest in a range of therapy modalities especially the treatment of trauma.
Clinic psychotherapists provide in-person and virtual services per patient request and treatment needs.
Applicant qualifications and skills:
Candidates with an NPI and existing insurance credentials preferred.
Candidate must be fully licensed psychotherapist with interest in providing services to all ages 5 .
- Trauma training and knowledge of effective trauma treatment techniques
- Understanding of family systems theory and application
- Strong client engagement skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a treatment team
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and community professionals
- Creative, receptive and responsive
- Projects a professional demeanor and appearance
- Familiar with legal, ethical standards
- Knowledge of DSM diagnosing
- Extensive knowledge of community resources and referrals highly desirable
Tasks and Responsibilities
Provide psychotherapy to a caseload of clients and all associated case management and record-keeping responsibilities. Participation in weekly clinical collaboration and attendance at occasional agency meetings. Collaborate and coordinate care community professionals and/or school personnel.
- Assessment, intake, case management, individual therapy, family therapy, and couples therapy. Possible in-home services as needed.
- Complete client charting and other required paperwork per agency, state and insurance contract requirements.
- Attend peer consultation, staff meetings, supervision and other meetings.
- Provide emergency after-hours coverage on rotation.
- Maintain client confidentiality and comply with HIPAA guidelines
- Uphold agency and state ethical and legal standards.
- Establish and maintain collateral contacts as needed.
- Participate in marketing and public relations efforts when requested.
- Fulfill continuing education requirements to maintain state licensure.
- Maintain positive and cooperative working relationships with agency staff.
- Other tasks and responsibilities as assigned.
