Company Overview: We are a family-owned food manufacturing company committed to delivering high-quality products to our customers. We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Representative to join our team and drive sales growth across the state of Tennessee.
Position Overview: As a Food Manufacturing Sales Representative, you will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with operators, distributors and brokers, developing and executing sales strategies, and achieving sales targets. This role requires a self-motivated individual with a strong understanding of the food manufacturing industry and a proven track record in sales.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Engagement: Develop and maintain relationships with operators and distributors throughout Tennessee to promote and sell our products.
- Sales Strategy: Create and implement effective sales strategies to achieve and exceed sales goals.
- Reporting: Prepare and present regular sales reports, including forecasts and performance metrics.
- Market Analysis: Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.
- Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including marketing and product development, to align sales efforts with company objectives.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in sales preferably within the food manufacturing industry.
- Strong understanding of the Tennessee market and its key players.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
- Willingness to travel extensively within Tennessee.
