Duties

• Assist clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to promote independence and dignity as a caregiver
• Monitor health status and report any changes or concerns to healthcare professionals promptly as part of your caregiver responsibilities
• Provide medication reminders and support medication management as directed by healthcare providers in your caregiver role
• Offer companionship and emotional support to reduce feelings of loneliness and enhance mental well-being as a compassionate caregiver
• Support clients with light housekeeping tasks, meal preparation, and transportation to appointments or errands as part of caregiver duties
• Follow care plans meticulously, ensuring all safety protocols are adhered to during each caregiver visit
• Document caregiver activities accurately and maintain detailed records of each visit for accountability and continuity of care

Requirements

• Experience working as a caregiver in diverse environments including inpatient facilities, outpatient clinics, and in-home care
• Ability to handle sensitive situations with professionalism and compassion as a caregiver
• Strong communication skills to effectively coordinate with family members and other caregivers
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred for caregiver travel between client homes
• Certification in CPR/First Aid is a plus but not mandatory; willingness to obtain certification upon hire is preferred for caregivers
• Flexibility in schedules to meet client and caregiver needs
• Ability to assist clients who are mobility challenged preferred for caregiver success
• Reliable and punctual for every scheduled caregiver shift
