Job Title: Practice Supervisor – Family Practice

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Practice Supervisor to join our busy Family Practice. The ideal candidate is a strong leader with excellent communication and organizational skills who is committed to supporting staff and ensuring high-quality patient care.
Position Summary
The Practice Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of assigned practice site by supervising staff, promoting teamwork, and ensuring compliance with organizational policies and procedures. This role provides leadership through coaching, training, and performance management while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise assigned staff in the daily performance of activities and responsibilities at designated practice site(s).
- Coordinate and oversee staff orientation, training, coaching, and mentoring to promote professional growth and operational excellence.
- Assist with employee performance evaluations and provide ongoing feedback to support staff development.
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and committees focused on process improvement, operational initiatives, and the implementation of new services.
- Ensure staff compliance with departmental and organizational policies, procedures, protocols, and regulatory requirements.
- Foster a positive, collaborative work environment that promotes exceptional patient care and customer service.
Support practice leadership in achieving operational, quality, and patient satisfaction goals.
Qualifications
- High school diploma/GED required
- 1 year of experience in a medical office required
- Previous supervisory or leadership experience in a healthcare or medical office setting preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to effectively coach, mentor, and motivate staff.
- Knowledge of medical office operations and healthcare compliance standards.
- Proficiency with EPIC and Microsoft Office applications is preferred.
