Job Summary:
We are seeking a dependable and motivated Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) to join our busy family practice clinic. This role is vital in supporting patient care and assisting providers in delivering high-quality healthcare services. The ideal candidate is a team player with a strong work ethic who can also work independently when needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Escort patients from the waiting area and prepare them for examination
- Obtain and record patient vital signs
- Reconcile and update patient medications
- Perform EKGs as needed
- Administer injections and immunizations (as appropriate)
- Accurately enter patient information into the Electronic Health Record (EHR)
- Assist providers with clinical tasks to ensure efficient patient flow
Qualifications:
- Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) certification required
- Previous experience in a clinical or family practice setting preferred
- Experience administering injections and immunizations preferred
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and patient care skills
- Reliable with a strong commitment to professionalism
