Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a RN/LPN/CMA at FAMILY PHYSICIANS OF CEDAR RAPIDS, P.C., located in Cedar Rapids, IA. The responsibilities include providing patient care under the supervision of a physicians/ARNP, administering medications, recording vital signs, assisting during medical examinations, and maintaining accurate patient records. Additionally, the role involves patient education, the preparation of examination rooms, ensuring compliance with safety and medical protocols as well as helping grow our weight loss and hormone therapies.

Qualifications

• Strong clinical skills including administering medications, taking vital signs, and assisting patients with examinations and procedures.
• Experience with patient records management, documenting data accurately, and maintaining confidentiality in accordance with healthcare regulations.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, safety protocols, and adherence to clinical best practices.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to provide education and ensure patient satisfaction.
• Organizational and time-management skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Assisting
• Current certification or licensure as a RN, LPN, or CMA, as required by the state of Iowa.
• Basic proficiency in using healthcare software and technology is a plus.
• Prior experience in a family medicine or primary care setting is preferred but not required.
