Overview
Dedicated and compassionate Behavior Assistants are welcomed! Help a child and their family learn social behavioral skills and home life skills who has developmental disabilities - after school. Provide 1:1 care, and assist with behavioral therapy.

Duties
- Work 1-to-1 with an assigned child in a family's home.
- Implement interventions to support the child in reaching social and home life goals. - Implement a behavior plan to reduce challenging behavior.
- Record data collection to inform the success of treatment plans.
- Implement behavioral therapy techniques to help child develop positive behaviors.
- Meet with and receive ongoing training and support from the clinical supervisor.
- Develop and maintain a safe and supportive learning environment.
Required Experience:
- Experience working with children in any setting for at least 1 year
Required Academic Need:
- HS Diploma or higher
Preferred Experience:
- 1 year experience working in a home setting as a Special needs assistant, paraprofessional, Behavior Interventionist (BII), Behavior Therapist (BT), or related position required
-Registered Behavior Technician certificate (RBT)
Preferred Academic Need:
-B.A. Degree in Psychology, Sociology, Child Development, Behavior Analysis
- OR At Least 18 months of college education with an emphasis in psychology, child development, sociology or related field
Pay: $19.00 - $24 per hour
Hours:
- 30 hours per week
-Afterschool hours from 2:45pm -8:45pm M - F to help with afternoon & night time routines
Job Type: Part-time
