Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Medical Assistant based in Grand Rapids, MI. The Medical Assistant will be responsible for supporting the healthcare team by performing clinical and administrative duties. Daily tasks include assisting with patient care, managing medical records, utilizing medical terminology for accurate documentation, and ensuring the smooth operation of the medical office. The role requires a focus on efficiency, precision, and compassionate patient interactions.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Medical Assisting and knowledgeable in Medical Terminology
- Experience in managing Medical Offices and Medical Records systems
- Strong skills in Patient Care, with a focus on providing compassionate and professional support
- Excellent organizational, communication, and multitasking abilities
- Ability to function effectively in a dynamic clinical environment
- CMA/RMA certification (preferred)
- Prior experience in a family medicine or primary care setting is a plus
