Family Matters Counseling is growing, and looking for a fully independently licensed therapist (LCSW, LMFT, or LPC) to join the practice as an independent contractor.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced therapist who wants the flexibility and autonomy of private practice without having to build a practice from scratch.
What We Offer
- 60/40 fee split – Therapist receives 60% of collected fees
- Individual sessions: $150 → $90 to therapist
- Couples/family sessions: $175 → $105 to therapist
- No minimum caseload or required weekly hours

The office is conveniently located in Gilbert near Lindsay Road and the 202, with easy access for clients throughout the East Valley.
Who We're Looking For
We're looking for a therapist who is:
- Fully independently licensed in Arizona (LCSW, LMFT, or LPC)
- Experienced and confident practicing independently
- Warm, personable, and client-focused
- Comfortable with relational work, particularly couples and family therapy
- Professional, reliable, and positive
- Patient and willing to build a caseload gradually
- Interested in working in a positive team environment while maintaining clinical autonomy
Experience with children and adolescents is a plus.
Independent Contractor Requirements
This is an independent contractor position. Applicants must:
- Have an active, unrestricted Arizona independent clinical license
- Have their own LLC/business entity
- Maintain their own professional liability insurance
- Meet all professional licensing and business requirements associated with their independent practice
Clinical supervision is not provided.
