Job Summary
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Attendant Caregivers to provide high-quality personal care and support to individuals with diverse needs in various settings, including home, community, and assisted living environments. Responsibilities
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Medications reminders follow care plans follow HIPAA regulations
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with feeding when necessary
- Support clients with mobility using equipment such as Hoyer lifts or transfer techniques for heavy lifting needs
- Maintain a clean and safe environment through light housekeeping tasks including cleaning and sanitation
- Provide companionship and emotional support to promote mental well-being
- Follow prescribed care plans and document observations accurately for team review
- Support clients with specialized needs such as dementia, Alzheimer's, autism, or developmental disabilities, ensuring respectful and personalized care
- Adhere to all safety protocols including CPR, first aid, and hospice or palliative care procedures when applicable
- Collaborate with staffing team, and family members to deliver comprehensive care
Qualifications
- Prior experience in non-medical home care, group homes, assisted living, home health, hospice care, or long-term care preferred
- Knowledge of patient observation techniques
- Certifications such as CPR and First Aid are highly desirable
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, dementia, Alzheimer's disease, autism spectrum disorder, or other special needs is a plus
- Ability to lift heavy loads safely (e.g., Hoyer lifts) and assist with transfers or mobility support
- Strong communication skills and compassionate demeanor
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations to ensure client confidentiality
- Valid driver’s license may be preferred for community-based services
- Ability to work independently while following detailed care plans

Pay: $16.50 - $17.50 per hour
