The Primary Duties Of An RN At FLC Are
- Patient assessment, admission, and coordination of care with other disciplines, physicians and care managers
- Provide Nursing care and treatment of home care patients in accordance with the plan of treatment and with company policies and procedures
- Provide Nursing services in a pleasant, professional manner to maximize positive outcomes and patient satisfaction
- Ensure that all clinical assessments, care plans, starting and resumption of care are completed with agency guidelines. Must be deadline driven
- Train, Coach and Direct clinical staff in the performance of their clinical duties.
- Responsible for compliance with all state and federal laws, regulations, policies, and processes relevant to home health
- Positive, approachable, and mentoring personality
- Understanding of state and federal laws and regulations related to home health, especially Medicare and Medicaid
- Experience with Medicare (OASIS), Medicaid and commercial insurance in the home health environment is desired
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, organizational abilities, and attention to detail
- Embrace technology and have experience with industry software such as Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) systems.
- Self-starter with a "Go the extra mile" personality.
- Current Florida RN license
- Current CPR Certification
- Driver's License and Vehicle Insurance
- Current TB test with negative results
- Ability to pass a Level II background check
