Family Legacy Planning is an established and growing independent wealth management firm based in Bentonville, Arkansas. We help individuals and families navigate the financial decisions that become increasingly important as they approach and enter retirement.
Our planning process goes beyond investment management. We coordinate retirement income planning, investment strategy, tax-aware planning, Social Security, insurance considerations, and estate and legacy planning to help clients make informed financial decisions and build confidence in their financial future.
We are continuing to grow and are looking for an experienced Financial Advisor to join our advisory team.
Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Financial Advisor position in Bentonville, Arkansas.
The Financial Advisor will work directly with existing and prospective clients to understand their financial goals, develop comprehensive financial plans, present recommendations, and maintain long-term advisory relationships.
This position is designed for an advisor who wants to spend more time advising clients and solving complex financial problems—and less time cold calling, prospecting, or trying to build a practice from scratch.
Responsibilities include:
• Conduct client discovery, planning, and review meetings
• Develop and present comprehensive financial and retirement income plans
• Evaluate investment portfolios, income needs, risk, Social Security strategies, and tax considerations
• Coordinate recommendations involving investments, retirement income, insurance, and estate and legacy planning
• Clearly communicate sophisticated financial concepts and recommendations to clients
• Build trusted, long-term client relationships
• Collaborate with our advisory and client-service teams to provide a consistent client experience
• Maintain accurate client records and appropriate documentation
• Stay current on financial planning strategies, investment markets, and applicable regulatory requirements
Qualifications
• Financial planning, wealth management, or financial advisory experience
• Experience working directly with clients and conducting financial planning meetings
• Strong knowledge of investments, retirement planning, and retirement income strategies
• CFP® certification strongly preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, financial planning, economics, business, or a related field preferred
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to explain complex financial concepts clearly and confidently
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• High ethical standards and a commitment to acting in clients’ best interests
• Collaborative mindset and desire to be part of a growing advisory firm
