Position Summary:
The CT/X-ray Technologist performs high-quality radiologic and computed tomography (CT) imaging studies across hospital, outpatient, and urgent care settings. This professional is responsible for ensuring patient safety and comfort, operating advanced imaging equipment, and collaborating closely with healthcare providers for prompt, accurate diagnoses. The ideal candidate exhibits compassion, technical expertise, adaptability, and a patient-centered approach in fast-paced clinical environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform CT and X-ray exams according to established protocols and orders in hospital, outpatient, and urgent care settings.
- Prepare, position, and educate patients for procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment, troubleshooting and ensuring quality control and regulatory compliance.
- Prioritize and organize workloads to accommodate urgent and routine exams, supporting rapid turnaround times.
- Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to provide timely and accurate image interpretation.
- Maintain accurate patient records within electronic health systems, ensuring confidentiality and compliance.
- Uphold infection control, radiation safety, and equipment sterilization standards.
- Serve as a resource or mentor for new technologists or students, as needed.
- Respond to emergencies and assist in critical care, trauma, or acute situations.

Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree).
- ARRT (R) certification required; CT certification preferred or expected within established time frame.
- State-specific radiologic licensure if required.
- BLS/CPR certification.
- 1-3 years of clinical experience preferred; experience in hospital, imaging center, or urgent care environment desirable.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively under pressure.
