Overview
Family Hope Healthcare LLC is a growing organization dedicated to serving individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, their families, and underserved communities who often struggle to access mental health services due to limited TennCare providers. We are expanding our Behavioral Health and Outpatient Mental Health programs and seeking an experienced, mission-driven Program Director to provide strong leadership, oversight, and operational direction.
The Program Director will oversee all outpatient behavioral health and intellectual disability program operations, ensuring high-quality service delivery, regulatory compliance, and strong collaboration across departments. This role works closely with the Owner to uphold our mission, strengthen our programs, and support families who rely on compassionate, accessible care. We are looking for someone with genuine heart, professionalism, and deep commitment to the IDD and mental health populations we serve.
Responsibilities
- * Provide direction, leadership, and supervision to professional and support staff to ensure high-quality services and smooth program operations
- Oversee financial performance of the program, including financial report review, budget monitoring, purchasing oversight, billing compliance, and accurate documentation
- Lead program development and growth strategies to increase census, improve utilization, and support the development of new services and locations
- Build and maintain strong relationships with families, guardians, mentors, and community stakeholders
- Participate in community engagement, outreach, and partnership-building to strengthen organizational visibility
- Ensure strong program quality through oversight of documentation, audits, incident management, and service outcomes
- Support development, implementation, and improvement of clinical and community-based service models
- Maintain a culture of compassion, professionalism, and person-centered care
- Manage authorizations, unit tracking, and timely operational processes
- Represent the organization with professionalism in all internal and external interactions
- Part-time and As-Needed schedule options may be available
Qualifications
- * Bachelor’s degree in Education, Business Administration, Social Work, Human Services, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred)
- Proven experience in program management, preferably in intellectual disability services, behavioral health, or community-based programs
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills with the ability to supervise staff and manage daily operations
- Solid understanding of service delivery models, person-centered practices, and program development
- Ability to develop and implement strategic plans, oversee budgets, and adapt within a growing organization
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and knowledge of best practices in IDD and behavioral health
