Volunteer Coordinator at Family Home Health Monroeville Office
Full Time Opportunity!
Three Rivers Hospice, a division of Quality Life Services, is seeking a Volunteer Coordinator. This is a full time position, Monday-Friday, 8:00am -4:30pm, housed at our Monroeville office. Reimbursed work travel included for appointments to facilities, patient’s homes, activity planning, and branch office.
Responsibilities:
This essential Hospice position is responsible for coordinating and administering all volunteer program activities, which includes recruiting, educating, and supervising volunteers; organizing activities for hospice patients; providing information to individuals and community groups about hospice volunteer services; maintaining donation tracking; and providing monthly statistics, quarterly reports, and audit information. Active participant of QLS Don’t Stop Dreamin’ program which turns dreams into everlasting memories for Hospice patients and organizes Memory Bears program for patient’s families.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a health care setting, hospice, and/or volunteer experience preferred.
- Ability to supervise and coordinate volunteer services
- Vibrant, compassionate personality, with goal of growing program to meet patients’ needs.
