Duties
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support to promote independence and dignity
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and preferences
- Provide light housekeeping duties including laundry, cleaning, and organizing to maintain a safe and comfortable environment
- Offer companionship and emotional support to reduce feelings of loneliness or isolation
- Monitor clients’ health status, report any changes or concerns promptly to family members or healthcare professionals
- Administer medication reminders or assistance as directed by healthcare providers
- Support clients during outings or appointments, ensuring safety and proper transportation
Experience
- Previous experience providing in-home or personal care services is highly valued
- Strong understanding of elderly care, geriatrics, or post-acute care settings is preferred
- Prior experience in outpatient clinics, teaching hospitals, or sub-acute care settings demonstrates versatility and adaptability
- Excellent communication skills and compassionate demeanor are essential for building trusting relationships with clients and their families
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
