Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures including X-ray, DEXA scans, and additional in office tests with precision and adherence to safety protocols.
- Ensure proper patient positioning and preparation for imaging procedures while maintaining patient comfort and safety.
- Maintain detailed documentation of procedures performed and patient information in accordance with hospital policies.
- Follow strict radiation safety guidelines to protect patients and staff from unnecessary exposure.
- Stay current with advancements in medical imaging technology and techniques through ongoing education.
Experience
- Proven experience in diagnostic radiology including X-ray.
- Familiarity with medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and aseptic techniques essential for accurate imaging and patient safety.
- Experience with diagnostic radiology equipment operation and maintenance required.
- Strong understanding of radiation safety protocols and quality control measures for medical imaging.
