Radiology Technician

Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Radiologic Technologist to join our medical imaging team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in diagnostic radiology, including X-ray, DEXA scans. This role requires a professional with strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and aseptic techniques to perform high-quality imaging procedures that support accurate diagnosis and patient care. Experience in emergency medicine and trauma centers is highly valued. The Radiologic Technologist will play a vital role in providing exceptional diagnostic evaluation within a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures including X-ray, DEXA scans, and additional in office tests with precision and adherence to safety protocols.
• Ensure proper patient positioning and preparation for imaging procedures while maintaining patient comfort and safety.
• Maintain detailed documentation of procedures performed and patient information in accordance with hospital policies.
• Follow strict radiation safety guidelines to protect patients and staff from unnecessary exposure.
• Stay current with advancements in medical imaging technology and techniques through ongoing education.

Experience

• Proven experience in diagnostic radiology including X-ray.
• Familiarity with medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and aseptic techniques essential for accurate imaging and patient safety.
• Experience with diagnostic radiology equipment operation and maintenance required.
• Strong understanding of radiation safety protocols and quality control measures for medical imaging.
