Family Health & Support Network (FHSN), an Equal Opportunity Employer, is a private non-profit 501(c) (3) corporation licensed by the State of California to function as a Foster Family Agency. FHSN is in search of a qualified Bi-lingual Agency Social Worker.

Potential candidates must have a master's degree from an accredited or state-approved graduate school, that includes, but is not limited to, social work or social welfare, marriage, family, and child counseling, child psychology, child development, counseling psychology, education with an emphasis on counseling, or an area that qualifies for licensure as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor, as specified in Sections 4999.32 and 4999.33 of the Business and Professions Code,

The successful candidate must be able to pass a criminal background check, child abuse index check and an FBI background check. Experience in MS Office is essential.

A balance of assertiveness and diplomacy is critical, as are effective listening skills and the ability to collaborate with a team of professionals. The capability to communicate clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing is essential and the ability to work with groups of diverse personalities are important. The ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships with the community and contractors is essential.

Desirable personal qualities include self-direction, enthusiasm and a highly developed service orientation. Also, potential candidates must have a genuine passion for advocating for the needs of children and youth who reside in the California Foster Care System.
