Position Summary:
Family Health Centers, Inc., is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Pediatrician to join our mission-driven team. The Pediatrician will provide high-quality, comprehensive medical care to children and adolescents in a community health setting. This role is an essential part of our commitment to improving access to pediatric healthcare services for underserved and vulnerable populations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide well-child exams, immunizations, and treatment for acute and chronic pediatric conditions.
- Perform developmental screenings and manage behavioral and emotional health issues within scope.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members including nurses, behavioral health providers, care coordinators, and specialists.
- Educate patients and families on preventive care, nutrition, safety, and disease management.
- Document all patient encounters accurately and in a timely manner using the electronic health record (EHR).
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, clinical meetings, and community outreach as needed.
- Supervise and mentor medical students or residents if applicable.
