What are the responsibilities and job description for the Respite Aide position at Family Health Care?
We’re looking for caring, reliable individuals to join our team as a part-time Respite Aide. If you enjoy spending time with others, offering companionship, and providing support, this role is a great opportunity for you. You’ll help care for older adults with memory issues or health challenges, providing them with safe, comfortable company while giving their families a much-needed break.
What You’ll Do:
- Spend quality time with clients, chatting, playing games, and doing light activities to keep them engaged and happy.
- Ensure clients are safe and comfortable at home by
providing supervision. - Be a friendly, supportive presence, helping clients feel less isolated.
- Report any changes in the client’s health or behavior to family members and supervisors.
