Family Foot Care is looking to hire a part-time/Casual Medical Assistant for its Butler, PA medical office. Some traveling will be required for nearby medical offices and nursing homes.

Family Foot Care offers patient care appointments during daylight hours and two evenings per week, with no weekends or holidays.
As a Medical Assistant at FFC, you will be involved with all aspects of patient care. You will greet and interact with patients, room and collect patient vitals, assist with in-office procedures and perform bandage changes. Under the guidance of the physicians, you will learn special skills such as casting for orthotic/prosthetic devices, applying specialized bandages, and you will even perform certain routine foot care procedures such as nail debridement. You will administrate specific orders for outside testing, imaging, bloodwork, referrals etc., as well as assist with documentation for each patient encounter in the EMR.

Education:
- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Experience:
- EMR systems: 1 year (Preferred)
- Vital signs: 1 year (Preferred)
License/Certification:
