Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. Responsibilities
- Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures, ensuring comfort and safety.
- Prepare patients for examinations by taking vital signs, medical histories, and documenting information accurately.
- Perform basic life support as needed and assist in emergency situations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the clinical environment, including sterilization of instruments.
- Schedule appointments, manage patient flow, and coordinate referrals as necessary.
- Handle administrative tasks such as coding patient records and managing electronic health systems.
- Educate patients on treatment plans, medications, and follow-up care as directed by physicians.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient clinic operations and high-quality patient care.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Medical Assistant or in a similar role is preferred.
- Knowledge of dermatology practices is a plus; experience in outpatient settings is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with basic life support techniques and emergency medicine protocols.
- Strong understanding of medical-surgical procedures and physiology knowledge.
- Proficient in medical coding and familiarity with electronic health record systems.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with patients and healthcare professionals.
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
