What are the responsibilities and job description for the Client Engagement Specialist position at Family First Legal Group?
Your Impact and Responsibilities
Do you thrive on connecting with people, closing opportunities, and making a real difference in someone’s life during their most difficult moments?
Family First Legal Group is seeking a driven, engagement-focused Client Engagement Specialist to serve as the primary point of contact for prospective clients. This is a high-impact role centered on conducting 30-minute consultations by phone throughout the day. You will be responsible for providing detailed information about our services and guiding potential clients through the process of engaging our firm.
While there are administrative aspects to this role, this is not an administrative position. It is a performance-driven role where your ability to build trust, handle emotionally charged conversations (including divorce, custody, and abuse), and confidently guide clients toward a decision directly contributes to both client outcomes and firm growth.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- High-Volume Engagement: Conducting back-to-back consultation calls and maintaining a high level of phone activity for follow-up efforts.
- Strategic Consultations: Leading 30-minute sessions to articulate the firm’s value and successfully onboarding new clients.
- Emotional Resilience: Taking ownership of intense, high-conflict conversations with professionalism, empathy, and control.
- Conversion & Follow-up: Managing a consistent pipeline of leads via phone and email to ensure no opportunity to help a family is missed.
- Onboarding Excellence: Reviewing retainer agreements, assisting with payment setups, and ensuring a seamless transition to our legal team.
- Target Achievement: Meeting or exceeding engagement and performance targets to support firm expansion.

- Assertive yet Empathetic: Skilled at building rapport quickly while maintaining control of the conversation to lead the client to a clear decision.
- Tech-Savvy: Comfortable with CRM software and technology-driven intake and engagement processes.
- Self-Disciplined: Capable of maintaining high productivity in a remote/hybrid environment. A dedicated, quiet home office is required.
