We are Family First Center for Autism and Child Development, Inc. and we are currently looking for Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT) to work individually with children and adolescents with autism at our Liberty, MO office.
We currently have evening, Saturday and daytime hours available. Also we work around YOUR schedule!! You could even work as little as 15 hours per week or as much as 35-40.
The position starts at $17.50 per hour upon passing the RBT certification in which we provide self-paced training to facilitate passing the required test. We offer in-center teaching and provide resources to assist with getting the mandatory RBT credential! Once the RBT exam has been passed, Family First rewards with a sign on bonus!
We also provide performance reviews for potential pay raises within the first 6 months, then every 3 after that! The RBT certification is a requirement of the job, however we will walk you through the entire process, step-by-step!

We provide ongoing supervision and training (no previous experience is necessary)
Job Responsibilities:
- Implement direct therapy using ABA principles
- Data collection
- Implement behavior strategies
- Participate in team meetings
- Assist with activities of daily living (e.g. toileting, tooth brushing, meal times, etc.)
Requirements:
- High School Diploma (required) or Bachelor's Degree (preferred)
- Pass a background check
- Position requires the ability to lift, push, or pull a minimum of 40 pounds, physically prompt clients and the ability to move quickly from one location to another to support the client and staff. In addition, transitioning from seated position on the floor to standing, squatting, kneeling, twisting, bending, and reaching.
- Have access to internet and email
- Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certified (we will train at no cost to you)
- RBT credentialed within a month (we will pay for the first time you test)
- At least 18 years of age
- Read , write and speak English clearly at an 8th grade level or above
