Job Summary
This role is responsible for contributing to the daily maintenance of the store appearance, including stocking products, operating the cash register, and maintaining a clean store environment. The successful candidate will be committed to excellent service and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Promote our mission statement and family values
- Execute daily operational goals and priorities assigned by store management
- Greet customers and interact with them in a positive manner
- Solicit customers to sign up for loyalty programs and financing options
- Utilize POS systems to checkout customers and manage cash handling processes
- Assist in setting promotional signage and freight processes
- Maintain awareness of in-store safety issues and communicate potential issues to store management
- Uphold loss prevention measures and operate forklifts/pallet jacks safely
- Maintain cleanliness of the sales floor, receiving area, and restrooms
Requirements:
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings, and holidays
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Able to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Knowledge of basic computer systems
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50lbs
