As a Medical Receptionist, you will be essential in providing administrative support within a multi-doctor eye care practice. Reporting to the office manager, your primary responsibilities will include managing patient interactions, maintaining medical records, and ensuring efficient front desk operations. Receptionist are required to cross train in all front office positions.
Job Duties Include:
- Greeting patients
- Check In
- Insurance Verifications
- Check Out
- Billing
- Answering phones
- Scheduling appointments
- Inventory
- Cleaning
- Other admin tasks as needed.
Some medical front office experience is preferred, although we do provide extensive on-the-job training. The ideal applicant is a fast learner, hard working, compassionate, and flexible with excellent attention to detail. Professional appearance and attitude is expected at all times.
