We are seeking an experienced, motivated, and business-minded Area Office Manager to oversee the daily operations of two thriving dental practices. The ideal candidate is an experienced dental office manager with extensive knowledge of dental insurance, treatment planning, scheduling optimization, and revenue cycle management. This individual will lead by example, coach and develop team members, and work closely with providers to create an efficient, patient-focused practice.

ResponsibilitiesLeadership & Team Development
- Lead and support the daily operations of two dental practices.
- Recruit, train, coach, and develop front office teams.
- Foster a positive, accountable, and patient-centered culture.
- Conduct regular team meetings and performance coaching.
- Partner closely with doctors to achieve operational and financial goals.
- Effectively manage staffing, scheduling, and employee performance.
Insurance & Treatment Planning
The ideal candidate will have an advanced understanding of:
- PPO and Fee-for-Service insurance
- Insurance verification and benefit breakdowns
- Fee schedules
- Coordination of Benefits (COB)
- Claims processing and follow-up
- Accounts receivable
- Patient balances and collections
- Patient financing options
- Treatment planning
- Same-day case acceptance
- Financial presentations
- Dental coding fundamentals
You must be comfortable educating patients on their treatment options, insurance benefits, and financial responsibilities while helping the team maximize case acceptance.
Operations
- Monitor daily practice performance and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Ensure schedules are optimized for providers and hygiene.
- Oversee treatment acceptance and outstanding treatment follow-up.
- Improve patient retention and new patient conversion.
- Maintain efficient front office workflows.
- Ensure compliance with office policies and standard operating procedures.
- Resolve patient concerns professionally and effectively.
- Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to improve efficiency.
Business & Financial Management
The successful candidate should understand how office operations impact overall business performance and be comfortable reviewing and managing:
- Production
- Collections

Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of dental office management experience.
- Multi-location management experience preferred.
- Extensive knowledge of dental insurance and treatment planning.
- Strong understanding of revenue cycle management.
- Experience with Dentrix Ascend, Dentrix, or similar dental practice management software.
- Exceptional leadership and coaching abilities.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
